Scène autrichienne

We shot a quick sequence and hit the road.

And devise a new way to shoot from on board the van

… and move on to Hungarn !

A night at the farm

Tuesday 23 april, 1 am. Austria.

That's when we decide to leave the highway and sleep in the van a few hundred meters away. One hour and a few kilometers of intricate dusty paths later we stop between a field and a forest. Good night!

In the morning we go see this lovely farm nearby.

Oh, charming.

Wait a minute...

I see...

All right let's get out of here

On a bike

Just kidding.

On our way!

We hit the road last monday and only now I find some time to tell you about the trip.

After Nancy we crossed the Vosges (buying awesome munster on the way) and the German border. We then drove through Freiburg:

and the beautiful Höllental valley:

We haven't forgotten to film on the way:

Lost? Us? Never!

A scene next to Bodensee (lac de Constance) lake:

After that we passed München by night and crossed the Austrian border. We stopped next to a farm to spedn the night in the van, but that's a different story...

Next time I've internet I'll try to create a map on google map so that you can see the progression of the trip.

Indie let's go

We've hit the road! If you want to help us in our project, you can contribute with financial support on Indiegogo:

Thank you!

European Cultural Found

European Cultural Foundation (ECF) awarded each of us a 700€ "Step Beyond travel grant" to cover some of the travel expenses. The best thing about it is that someone thought our project is interesting enough to give us money. And second best is the financial help. Thanks, ECF!

Subsequently I went to ECF Princess Margriet Award ceremony in Brussels the 19 March. I was happy to actually meet people working at ECF rather than just getting template generated emails. They're a fine bunch. We'll keep in touch! Some pictures here (taken with my cellphone, sorry...):

PS: go see "The Egg" in Brussels. Classic but nicely rehabilitation of a former industrial building.
